Products We Use

I figured it would be a good idea to share the products we use in our house full of Type 1's:

Me: 
I alternate between the minimed Paradigm with Glucose sensor capabilites.



When I am off my Pump:

I take Levemir 16 units in the am, and 6 units at night.

I use NovoRapid for my Rapid acting but I am trialing Apidra at the Moment.

I use a Bayer Contour Meter and test a lot, 6-8 times per day.

I clip it to my boxers when in bed and my belt when awake.

Dareian:

She takes Lantus and Novorapid. 

Contour USB or what ever meter is with in her reach, we are trying to break this habit.

Rowan:

Same Pump with Novorapid.
Contour Meter

We currently don't use the CGM as it is too costly and the need size is more for a horse or other large animal.

For Lows:
Dex 4 tabs.
